Vhong Navarro finally speaks out: "I'm not a Rapist."

Sa interview ng Buzz ng Bayan kay Vhong Navarro, nalaman natin ang side niya ng story. "Hindi ako rapist". Ito yung ilang ulit sinabi ni Vhong as he recounted what happened that night when he was mauled in a condo sa the Fort.

According to Vhong, the girl's name is Denise Melinette Cornejo and that it was only the 2nd time that he went to Denise's condo after being invited by the latter. The rape allegation happened on their first meeting. Again, according to Vhong, meron nangyari sa kanila pero hindi humantong sa sexual intercourse. The actor even added na siya ang type ng tao na hindi gagawa ng isang bagay kung hindi din nagpapakita ng motibo babae na ok lang din ang gagawin niya;  which ito nga ang nakita ni Vhong kayat perhaps, we can assume, necking, petting, or foreplay happened pero again as insisted by Vhong, walang nangyari, hindi humantong ang gabing yaon sa sexual intercourse and their goodbyes were good.

And so on the 2nd visit of Vhong to Denise's condo, that's where the traumatizing mauling happened; Ginapos, was Blindfolded, binaba yung pants, gun pointed, mauled in every sense of the word. The leader of the pack, as Vhong claimed was Cedric Lee. The group insisted that Vhong raped Denise and one of them initiated the extortion by demanding P200,000 for damages done to Denise which eventually, through Cedric's manipulation, was increased to P2M. However, Vhong pleaded that he could only give P1M which the group agreed.

They then brought Vhong to a police station, of course, with all the control and manipulations of how the conversations should go. The night ended with the police bringing Vhong back to his car.

"Hindi ko na alam kung ano ang magiging reflection nito sa career ko, hindi ko po alam kung ano ang kalalabasan nito sa lahat." 

Amid this indeed traumatizing controversy, Vhong repeatedly insisted that he didn't rape anyone.

Talaga naman pare-parehas lang tayo lahat dito mundo. Lahat ay pwedeng mangyari sa atin. Walang pinipili - mapamayaman, mahirap, artista, o tambay, lahat ay may pinagdadaanan; lahat ay pwedeng mapahamak. Sa nangyari kay Vhong, let's all just hope na first of all, he will recover, and that he will not lose his fame in the lime light. Again, as reiterated by SLC, hindi na bago ang mga ganitong pangyayari sa showbiz. This is not the first instant na ang isang artista ay nabugbog. Well, ito nga lang din siguro ang catch ng pagiging sikat dahil malalaman ng lahat kahit ang pinaka personal na mga bagay ng buhay mo. To you Vhong, whichever side of the story is true, SLC is with you in your recovery and continued space in the limelight. Get well and dont look back. Be stronger!
